The Center concluded a tripartite agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Department of Agriculture and Livestock (DAL), and the Central Government of PNG, to carry out the training program for young farmers in rice cultivation and monitoring. Two buildings were constructed to provide dormitories for trainees, classrooms and rice milling room.
